This year I participated in the Wasatch Back and the Vegas Ragnar. It was fun, hard, and a spiritual experience. I loved every minute of it.

The Vegas Ragnar was not put together as well as the Wasatch was it was there first year. They didn't have schools to sleep in so a few of the tough guy's sleep on the ground.

This is one of my exchanges. I had some freaky guys follow me for a little while during this leg. there were not as many team in this race so there were not as many people running near you. I was all alone on a stretch of road and they pulled over it scared me enough that I stopped running and was going to turn back to get the guy behind me. Then at that point a car came over the hill i stopped them and asked them to ask the men to leave cause they were making me nervous. They were mad and honked at me when they went by.

We had a 15 passenger van. We drove it down the strip in Vegas just like this with all the writing on the window. It was awesome people were just staring.

Thanks to Travis's awesome driving Desi got car sick. Nothing we gave her helped and we tried a lot.

We got to stay at the Red Rock Resort for free. I recommend this hotel it was really nice. It wasn't on the strip but it would be worth the drive to the strip.

The first of first!!

Braydon came home from school on Thursday with a swollen eye and red check. I ask what happened. "he said I got hurt" I asked how? "he said I was playing cops and robbers at school and me and Jake ran into each other. With further questioning I asked if he cried he said NO I asked if the other boy cried he said YES. I asked did you want to cry he said yes but I didn't. I asked why he said " cause I'm buff and tuff mom".

When did this happen? When did my little boy realize he couldn't cry in front of anyone and it wasn't cool to cry . I'm glad that he still feels he can cry in front of me. I have found him a couple of time lately not crying and when he saw me came and cried cause he got hurt. I love this little ruff and tuff boy.
